Embody U Mentorship Program

Creating community and building confidence through guided learning on

breath basics, perinatal programming, and recovery practices

for Movement and Healing Arts Professionals

Next Offering: Summer 2025

Welcome to the Embody U Mentorship Program, a 3 month offering for movement and healing arts professionals to deepen their skills and increase confidence with breathing basics, perinatal programming, and recovery practices. These 3 topics are VERY connected in my practice and philosophy, keep reading to see what this program has to offer and watch the video below to hear it from me directly!

Information will be applicable to working with clients and students, particularly those experiencing pain, injury, who are perinatal, or seeking more body awareness and mindfulness. Participants will learn experientially (meaning you will physically practice the skills, not just cognitively know them) with a group of like minded colleagues to build their knowledge base and level up their offerings. Gain community support, mentor connection and individualized content in integrating whole-body and whole-being wellness when working with clients.

Each offering is limited to a small group, no more than 12 people.

BREATHING BASICS

Breath is the most foundational and repetitive movement our body preforms; learn how to incorporate better breath practices with every client or student.

PERINATAL PROGRAMMING

You never know when a client or student may become pregnant, and many clients or students have lingering postpartum issues; gain confidence in working with this underserved population.

RECOVERY PRACTICES

If you aren’t training your system in recovery, then overuse, burnout and injury are likely to interrupt work with your clients or students; learn and practice routines to support your work.

This program is for you if:

  • You’ve taken continuing education courses, but feel something is still missing

  • You understand the concepts of breathing, recovery work and anatomy, but in real-life applications it’s not making total sense

  • Your stomach drops when a pregnant or postpartum student joins your class or practice

In this program you will:

  • Learn from someone who has been in the field for 15+ years, with a variety of experience

  • Experience a more holistic, fascia focused view of breathing, recovery practices and anatomy that applies to the whole body

  • Build confidence in working with pregnant or postpartum people to better support this underserved population

Are you confident in knowing your stuff? Try taking these short quizzes to find out!

That’s me, Erin!

I’m a certified and licensed athletic trainer and yoga therapist. I have worked in both the collegiate and fitness settings and now in my own private practice. I have learned from top teachers in the field and I live this work.

In my undergraduate and graduate coursework, being a mentor and a mentee were built in. Mentoring was foundational to my education and how I built confidence in being a practitioner. Not everything can be learned in books; much of the knowledge we need comes from experience, which can be gifted from those who have studied before us. With this foundation I sought out teachers in the top of the field and am now ready to switch from being a mentee to a mentor.

I am a mom of 1 with a 2nd on the way. I participate actively in 2 mentorship programs and am constantly learning and practicing. I also continue to learn through experience, recognizing the true value of rest and recovery for over all wellbeing and longevity.
